Russia's first English-language Master's degree program in Quantum Electronics and Photonics has been launched at St. Petersburg State Technical University LETI
In 2024, in cooperation with Rosatom State Corporation, St. Petersburg State University LETI launched Russia's first English–language master's degree program in the field of quantum electronics and photonics, Quantum Electronics and Photonics.
Currently, agreements have been reached on the exchange of students within the framework of academic mobility with the best universities in India, Malaysia and China.: International Center of Photonics (CUSAT), Universiti Malaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Southwest University of Science and Technology.
"Quantum technology programs at engineering universities allow for the training of a new generation of specialists who not only know the basics of their specialty, but can also apply quantum competencies to introduce quanta into production practice. Such universality is a prerequisite for the formation of the quantum industry. And the signed agreement is an important step in training the necessary personnel for this. Today, the joint educational program of LETI and TSTU concerns cooperation between the two countries in the educational field, but tomorrow its graduates will form alliances for the practical application of quantum technologies."
