MEPhI Hosted a Career Day for International Students

During Career Day organized by MEPhI, international students had an opportunity to meet potential employers in the partner countries of Rosatom State Corporation.

According to MEPhI Rector Vladimir Shevchenko, the demand for graduates in the international labor market serves as an indicator of the quality of education. Career Day is an opportunity for international students to learn about Rosatom's foreign projects and get acquainted with potential employers, ministries and foreign companies. Vladimir Shevchenko also emphasized that the students are on a mission to develop partnerships between Russia and their countries.

Valery Karezin, Director of Rosatom's Project Office for Education Development and International Cooperation, emphasized that a good job is not only a personal success but also a contribution to the economy of one's country. He emphasized that Rosatom will provide the necessary staff training for the safe operation of 58 power units abroad, where 33 projects in 10 countries (70% of the world market) are currently under implementation. Valery Karezin wished the students to find interesting work and contribute to the development of modern technologies that are useful for society.

The Career Day is important not only for international students themselves, but also for potential employers — this is where they can find future employees and learn how the professional expectations of the new generation are changing.
