Alexey Likhachev Called Obninsk Tech the World's Most Attractive Project in Nuclear Education

Rosatom's Obninsk Tech project has been singled out as the most attractive in the field of nuclear education at the global level. This statement was made by Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the State Corporation, speaking at a meeting of the Science and Education Council.

He emphasized: “Our education system should develop not only in the interests of the country, but also be competitive and in demand at the world level. Many practices can be taken as a basis. We offer our flagship project “Obninsk Tech”, which is really becoming the most attractive point of nuclear education on the planet today. There is high interest in it not only from the point of view of nuclear technologies but also from the point of view of the education of foreign youth in general”.

During his speech, the head of Rosatom also expressed the initiative to place Obninsk Tech under the patronage of the government. He noted that such support is necessary both for further development of the project's material base and for strengthening international cooperation in this area.
