Description
The module "Electronics and Electrical Engineering" is conducted as part of various practical training programs in the disciplines of "Electrical Engineering" and "Electronics." Rectifying devices". The main task of this module is to study the effects of smoothing filters on the operation of a rectifier device.
With the increasing use of digital technologies, there is a need for stable operation of electronic devices under variable loads, which is impossible without the use of effective smoothing filters. For example, when processing and analyzing video information, an anti-aliasing operation is used to eliminate interference. In the active vision systems of robots, the tasks of searching for filters are also relevant.
It should be noted that the use of rational smoothing filter schemes can significantly reduce the overall dimensions and increase the efficiency of the device as a whole.
The purpose of the module is to get acquainted with the operating principle and basic properties of a single-phase two-half-period rectifier, as well as to study the effect of smoothing filters on the operation of a rectifier device.
To conduct this practical module, a standard set of educational equipment "Zarnitsa" is used, which provides the study of DC and AC electrical circuits, three-phase circuits, semiconductor devices, analog electronic devices, and elements of digital technology. As a result of completing the module, the student acquires knowledge of the types of smoothing filters and their purpose in rectifier circuits, skills in working with measuring instruments (multimeter, ampervoltmeter, oscilloscope), as well as the ability to analyze and interpret the measurement data obtained.
Basic knowledge is required to successfully master the module.:
- basic concepts such as electricity, current, voltage, resistance, etc.;
- elements of electrical circuits (various types of resistors, capacitors and inductors, their effect on the operation of electrical circuits);
- fundamentals of the theory of electrical circuits (Kirchhoff's laws and the application of Ohm's law);
- basic principles of device operation (principles of operation of various circuits and electrical devices, including resistors, capacitors);
- basic concepts of complex numbers.
