Description

The course, organized jointly by Ural Federal University and Rosatom Technical Academy, focuses on the main application fields of electron beam-based radiation processing facilities. The purpose of the course is to help participants expand their knowledge in the field of nuclear instrumentation, the use of civil radiation technologies, radiation safety technologies and biomedical engineering.

Practical sessions consist of exercises on working with radiation sources, irradiating products, measuring doses and processing measurement results at dosimetry laboratories with closed ionizing radiation sources. Technical tours to production facilities for disposable medical clothing and instruments are organized.

“Train-The-Trainers” is a series short-term training courses for academic staff of foreign universities on the topics covering key nuclear technologies and the methodology of creating educational programs.
